Salesforce.com issued an announcement this morning that it will announce its fiscal second quarter results on Wednesday, August 17th, after the market closes.

Given the way the on-demand CRM market is becoming white hot, and taking into consideration Siebel's poor last quarter, these results should be very interesting and help us to cut through the hyperbole and PR spin to see what's really going on.
