Surprise! was the reaction when I took the test,.. all the practice tests I had did not reflect the actual Security+ 2008 test. What is on the test? 10% fact questions and 90% scenario questions such as: malware virtualization,.. malware what? So, after you finish memorizing the facts, be prepared to fail the test the first time. Oh! and also the test has alot of word game questions which is stupid. They do have the best answer and the correct answer in their questions and I ask for what purpose? When a test is designed to confuse you then it is not measuring the knowledge you have and if this Security+ 2008 test is an example of all those other tests out there then I pity future generations who are victim of "recertify tests, etc." Once you graduate from college you do -not- have to recertify your degree!!! Certification tests are just a money making scam period.
I'd hire a person with experience before I 'd hire a person who can pass these stupid tests!!!
