Microsoft released to manufacturing the code for Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2 (R2). As we shared with you in October, Office Communications Server 2007 R2 includes a number of new features, including:
• Next-generation collaboration with full-featured audio conferencing to reduce telephony costs and persistent group chat
• New voice features to enhance Office Communications Server voice for teams and mobile/remote workers
• New tools to speed business processes by integrating communications within applications

Also as communicated in October, Office Communications Server R2 will become generally available on February 3, 2009 and you're invited to attend the virtual launch of the release.
