FCC Chairman Genachowski called the opening of TV White Space as SuperWiFI.

We are the first to do a spot check on whether the superWiFi is just around the corner or too hard to implement.

You can see the event here http://bit.ly/fZoxVt  but coming to the event is probably the smartest move you can make.  If you think about WiFI it started with a small amount of spectrum.

“I know it when I see it” is the famous quote of Justice Potter Stewart about obscenity,  But when it comes to Security it’s what you don’t see that can kill you.

It’s nice in the movies that the bomb always has an LED to tick away at the clock and blue and red cables to give you a fifty – fifty choice.

The big question we have to face in the future is how much choice do we really have? That is the point, IMHO, of Commerce Department General Council Cameron Kerry’s discussion with the Wall Street Journal http://on.wsj.com/elSIHC about establishing a privacy office.

Over The Top ViDEO WINS...

It may be that usage based services are just to hard to implement and the carriers are going to face increasing demand for over the top Video.  With the sale of the 700 MHz spectrum to ATT by Qualcomm the MediaFlo solution has departed, but the data demand includes over 20% for Video on demand services.

ATT intends to use the spectrum for carrier aggregation.  Carrier Aggregation is a strategy that allows the mixing of traffic between HSPA and LTE.
