Green Mountain Daily

Green Mountain Daily has some interesting analysis of coal-to-liquid technology (CTL) as well as Barack Obama’s take. The blog entry is quite detailed and worth a read. While CTL seems to be a panacea when coal is abundant -- it seems clear it has serious problems in terms of the large amount of carbon emissions the process gives off.

The solution discussed in this article regarding storing carbon dioxide while intriguing, seems like a last resort. Still… Green technology continues to evolve and over time there may be a way for us to take advantage of CTL and actually embrace it as a true green technology.
