What's Big This Year in Telecom? Vote Now!

January 10, 2019

TMCnet and Andy Abramson and his company Comunicano are asking in the first annual VoIPWatch Poll.. The results will be revealed at this year’s ITEXPO in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, January 31 at 4:15 pm prior to the start of the always interesting IDEA Showcase.

For years Andy and his Comunicano team have been at the forefront of driving companies in the telecom industry to success. TMCnet and ITExpo have always been where the telecom, collaboration and communications infrastructure companies meet.

VoIPWatch, as one of the first, and now longest running blogs covering our industry, has always been where the community finds unfettered, and unfiltered insight, perspective and opinion. TMCnet is where the tech community discovers what’s new, what’s happening and goes to gather.

That’s why we’ve teamed up and are asking the community, what’s going to be the hot category in telecom in 2019.

Can't Miss at ITEXPO Jan 29-Feb 1st in Florida

January 8, 2019

Thanks to your feedback, we have been building ITEXPO into the most comprehensive business tech event around focusing on communications and IT.

First off, besides the ITEXPO Conference Program, here are some of the collocated events you should be aware of

Asterisk World: This is the business event behind the most popular open-communications solutions in the world. Come learn about the entire open-source/Linux communications ecosystem in a single place.

The Blockchain Event: The one place you need to be to learn about the future of distributed ledger and smart contact technology. Smart contacts could be the hidden gem in this tech as they can allow truly decentralized marketplaces to perform trust-based transactions. In other words - a smart contract could act as an intelligent agent - paying one party from another based upon preset conditions.

MSP Expo: Companies are more frequently turning to MSPs - especially as the war for tech talent heats up.

How The Future of Work Will Change Everything

January 3, 2019

The continuous technological changes coming to all industries is often referred to as the future of work and no corporation is safe from this upheaval. In order to help companies become prepared for what will undoubtedly be an exciting yet disruptive future, TMC (where I am CEO) has developed the world's only Future of Work Exposition.

To give you a sense of where things are going - we've posted past interviews with conference co-chair Jon Arnold. These consisted of near-term AI and ML expectations as well as where the future of work could lead us.

To finish off this series, we just interviewed Jon again about how the future of work will change everything, and we mean everything.

We hope you enjoy this post and further make plans immediately to come to the Future of Work Expo Jan 30-Feb 1st, 2019 in Florida.

There has been a lot of discussion around AI and jobs. Do you think it will be a net job creator?
