It's a Horse of a Different Color

Since Doug Osborne from Geek.com explained it so well, I'm going to let him do it:

Here is a concept watch that looks more like a fashion accessory rather than a timepiece. Nicolas Meiresonne however, sees a new way people could tell time throughout the day and evening. That is provided of course if you can part with such things as numbers or watch hands.

The Torus Concept Watch wears like a bracelet and time is deciphered on this timepiece by colors. In the morning, wearers of the watch are shown blue and green. For around noontime, the watch displays yellow and orange. And in the evening and nighttime, the colors shift to red and purple. Changing colors during the day, however, is not this watch's only trick. The Torus can also act as a timer simply by touching corresponding areas on the watch.

Ok Dougie, so the watch uses colors to tell time and I can set the watch by touching areas that I guess is the time I want to set the watch to...well whatever it does look cool. Besides, who needs to know the exact time anyway?
