MagicJack versus Nettalk, They Have Zero Competition, Only Each Other

July 22, 2010

I am excited! A third party is buying  MagicJack and Nettalk services for me and others in Pensacola, Florida, USA area to do a comparative review. They are competitors, big time! Nothing else compares to either one.

Let me know any particular particulars you think I should compare and contrast. I am feeling very neutral. I should get both devices and services started at my home within a month. I will report on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin and will compile it here and on Techistan magazine.

Connect with Middle East and Asia News, Partners, and Customers

July 19, 2010

Take advantage of the excellent news sites in the East. We've got the best of the best here in the West like http://www.tmcnet.com ... also RCR Wireless, Fierce, TechCrunch, etc., but what about the other billions of people, services, investors, partners, customers, and other organizations in the East who would love to do business with you. None of these have religious or radical undertones unless you call merging, buy-outs, hiring professionals, and new business development radical?

Some that I recommend:
1. http://teletechwire.com/ for press releases, based in U.A.E and Pakistan.
2.

IP communications news in Honduras ...
- Millicom International Cellular (MIC) today announced that it has reached agreement with its local partner in Honduras, to gain 100% control of Celtel.
- Honduras DID voip phone numbers available on wholesale DIDX.net from the first and only Honduran company with an FCC-214 License. Some will say anyone can do that... but they didn't.
- During World Cup, Skype was offering free calls to countries participating during games. This applied to Mexico, Chile, Honduras, Uruguay, Paraguay, Spain, Brazil, Portugal and the United States.

Happy IP communications monetizing to all.

New Nettalk DUO Device Connects to Router or Computer

July 14, 2010

The DUO carries on the capability of being the only device in the world flexible enough to connect directly to your router's internet connection OR through your computer?

Techistan reports on it and will soon offer a product review. Nettalk offers unlimited outgoing calls to USA and Canada  at $69.95 the first year including the DUO device. The second year is $29.95 ...

That breaks down to $2.50 per month for free nationwide calling throughout the USA and Canada plus all of our other calling features without monthly phone bills and contracts.

Why would anyone want to use a "home phone" or a "business phone" that is not a cell phone or on a PBX like this? There are millions.

Ever Wonder What smime.p7s is for?

July 14, 2010

smime.p7s ... you might see on incoming emails from different senders. Sometimes when our company Super Technologies, Inc. is helping our wholesale clients to monetize IP communications, we see this. In fact, every time we receive an email from a government organization who is leveraging DID phone number service on wholesale level.

What is it?

S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) is a standard for public key encryption and signing of MIME data. See more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S/MIME

Twitter Search Your Way to New Business

July 14, 2010

Try any search term in the block on the right side of your Twitter page. Here are some I found which have already led to my being able to get new customers for some of our www.didx.net wholesale IP communications service provider members.

I just have to use a POS slide phone from 2002, and the only numbers I have are my My Favs. IT SUCKS! and Sorry 2 hear that!

Venezuelan Expat VoIP Startup and a Canadian ISP with a Vision Merge

July 9, 2010

After recording this interview, Suzanne Bowen had an idea that Max and Jonathan should consider adding another service where they assist Canadian companies to merge with USA companies, especially where each fills service and resource gaps of each other. Download the audio podcast to your mp3 player, netbook, Droid, iPhone or whatever you use and listen too! It's on iTunes too.

Suzanne Bowen: Today we have with us the President of AstraQom Jonathan Sowah and also Max Glucksmann who is the new Chief Technical Officer. Welcome to both of you.

Which Asterisk Server Provider Do You Choose?

July 8, 2010

Yesterday, one friend, a guy whose clients are musicians in the USA and around the world. He does video, PR, and social networking training with and for them. He asked me if I would connect him to different Asterisk Server Providers because he needs that.

I used Facebook email to introduce him to each of them because there I am connected with around 2000 or so (slow accumulation of wonderful, quality, organically-grown relationships since early 2006) friends, most of them some how related to telecommunications.

Here are the responses he received from each and so I was wondering if you were the Musician PR guy, which answer gives you the best first impression? What are the pros and cons of each?

What Do Hairpinning and The Shining Have to do with VoIP?

July 7, 2010

I was remembering my mother in the 60s when she would wet her hair, curl small areas and hair pin in place. When it dried and she combed it out, she looked like an angel. But hairpinning is a term in voice over Internet (IP communications). It is the process of returning a message from a beginning endpoint back in the direction it came from.

Craiglist, USA Phone Numbers, Call Centers, Fraud

July 1, 2010

A friend on Facebook said, "I heard that my call center can make a lot of money using Craigslist. Would you give me advice?"

Answer: Craigslist requires a USA phone number from each person using Craigslist. Craigslist will call the number to verify the person answering has signed up to use Craigslist and agrees to their terms and conditions

A few ways to get bulk number of USA phone numbers wholesale.

If the Craigslist member is found to be using Craigslist fraudulently as in human trafficking, drug trafficking, selling fake goods, calling USA phone numbers (call center campaigns) that are on the http://www.donotcall.gov list, making threatening calls to anyone...

Where's that Ring Coming from?

July 1, 2010

Blog content can come from the most surprising locations, people and incidents! This one ... of my husband on Facebook and a cacophony of voice services and instruments' ringing tones.
