DIDX API Has Option to Filter DID that Require Special Docs

September 30, 2010

One of our members on DIDXchange made a wish for ... "if we could add a filter in the method of..."

getAvailableRatedDIDSbyCountryCode

The filter would be to avoid DIDs that require documentation or ID, please see the image attached.

Something like:
NeedDocument:

$NeedDocuments = 0 : All DIDs
$NeedDocuments = 1 : All DIDs with document requirements
$NeedDocuments = 2 : All DIDs with no document requirement

Our answer immediately:
We have made you a new function "getAvailableRatedDIDSbyCountryCodeAndDocs" which is exactly same as getAvailableRatedDIDSbyCountryCode, but with a difference that it has one more argument which is for document requirements.

http://kb.didx.net/tiki-index.php?page=Get+a+list+of+available+DIDs+by+country-area+code+and+document+requirements

The reason for not touching the already existed function is that this function is mostly used among customers and sometimes the change in the function arguments or return fields not acceptable by most API users.

Please test the function and let me know if it works for you well.

(So, we ask DIDX members to test it and let us know.)

*** Some governments requires certain documentation before a DID can be purchased. All DIDX members are required to take it as their responsibility to follow the law. See http://kb.didx.net/tiki-index.php?page=Documents+Requirement

Google Search Description of DIDX Adds Humor and New Business

September 9, 2010

When the going gets tough, the tough start laughing. And we've had a time at DIDXchange with the Google listing description of DIDX.

Despite the craziness of this experience while we wait for Google to fix the issue is that it has actually helped us to increase our membership activations of those who wish to buy and resell or sell directly to other wholesale companies... what?

Unresolved Customer Complaints Can Affect the Whole IP Communications Industry

September 7, 2010

How we as IP communications companies deal with customer complaints can make or break our success as well as the "industry's." Many people switching from PSTN or other traditional communications to IP can be immediately turned off by the industry in general with just a few minutes of uppity, rude customer service responses or even worse, ignoring complaints.

Our company has been a member of the USA Better Business Bureau since 2004. We do this openly because we wish to be transparent, effective, satisfying as possible for our customers. We have had many complaints in-house and posted to BBB, but have managed to resolve all with a resulting A+ BBB rating throughout the years.

We're still not satisfied. We have an "I wish" button in the portal of for example, every DIDX member, and we have a presence in social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, blogs and Techistan where we are often confronted with complaints and issues by customers or competitors.
