One, HP says the time is now to end-of-life the VCX SMB IP-PBX line it acquired from 3Com. Last January, HP blogged that it was committed to the VCX. Until now.
When I look at HP, I want to throw up. This was a company borne of innovation. Now? It's an M&A shop that can't figure ouot what it wants to be. And the layoffs are killing us.
Meanwhile, happy news at Toshiba who rolled out a cloud based business phone system. The VIPedge is aimed at the SMB market. Just waiting on Samsung to announce that they have one too.
