Now for a Word from Our Sponsor...

It is always interesting how things evolve. When I initially considered doing a blog, it was going to be ghost written by me and have the face of another Broadvox executive. Don't be surprised, the early columns written for another publication were done exactly like that. I thought engineering and product management titles carried more credibility than marketing or sales. In the end, it wasn't the title that mattered. It was the content. So thanks to the many of you that are enjoying the content.

The second change made before beginning this blog, was to focus on the industry as a whole rather than Broadvox activity. But today seemed like a good time to mention a bunch of new things we are doing and hope you find them interesting or of a sales benefit to you.

New Products...

We announced the addition of Hawaii as an originating SIP Trunk location this summer. The price is exactly the same as for the continental US. Our plan is to add Alaska before the end of the year and then we will cover all fifty states.

Puerto Rico was added for originating DIDs back to the mainland. We were unable to offer local terminations due to 911 rules and regulations. Our current provider of 911 does not support Puerto Rico. We will keep looking for alternatives.

CNAM has been added to GO!Xtras for inbound and outbound calling. It's a good addition for business at a great price.

Finally, we expanded our broadband offering to include bonded T1s. This was a request for some time and it took a bit of negotiation to accomplish, but it has been accomplished.

New IP MAN Adventures

Coming in September are two new IP Man video adventures. Be sure to stop by the site and take a look. You shouldn't spend your entire day without a smile.

In case you missed our newest villain Echo, you can check out her evil doings in two adventures.

By the way, if you are a Broadvox partner and want to be featured in an IP Man adventure, contact me and we'll get to work on either a comic strip or video as appropriate. These is no charge to be part of the IP Man adventures. It's just something else Broadvox does to promote the IP community.

See you on Monday with a new recipe and series for the week.
