Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 egg yolks

½ cup sugar

1 pinch salt

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 teaspoons vanilla or vanilla bean paste

1 quart half and half

2 egg whites


In a bowl, beat and mix together the egg yolks, sugar, salt and sweetened condensed milk until thick. Add the vanilla and half and half and mix well. Whip the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the mixture.

 

Transfer the whole mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the instructions.
