Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011

WPC Logo.jpgHello from beautiful Los Angeles, California, where we’re just getting done setting up the AudioCodes booth at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference.

Held from July 11th to 14th  at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown L.A., Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is a event, drawing more than 10,000 Microsoft solution providers from around the world to discuss and learn about the latest and greatest technology opportunities around Microsoft’s software and cloud-based technologies. And we’ve got a great story to tell them this year!

We work with a lot of Microsoft partners, helping them unlock the potential of unified communications through complete connectivity for Microsoft Lync. Alone, Lync is a great tool for presence, instant messaging and collaboration, but we’re excited about the opportunities Microsoft partners will find in taking Lync from a standalone technology to the center of a truly integrated unified communications technology.

In fact, over the next four days, we’ll be sharing with Microsoft partners how to take their customers through an eight-step journey from the status quo to a true unified communications solution, both in our booth on the WPC show floor (booth number 327 – drop by and see us!) and here on this blog. We’ll take you through two steps a day every day between now and Thursday, starting with getting voice messaging integrated with Exchange UM right through making your new unified communications solution truly mobile.

We’ll also be looking to get some great thoughts from solution providers who build unified communications environments with AudioCodes on how they’re succeeding in the market and wrapping their own value-add around our technology. And on a more personal note, I invite you to join me first some first-hand experience from the show floor, as I’ll be bringing you a daily video blog that brings you on the show floor, and offers you the sights, sounds and experiences of this massive event.

Of course, any major conference isn’t all work – there’s got to be some fun mixed in as well, and our experience here at WPC is no exception. We’ll be throwing a party tonight (Monday night) here in Los Angeles for our loyal partners. Stop by our booth (#327) to find out more!

Over the next four days, I look forward to sharing with you why AudioCodes is a key component in creating complete connectivity with Microsoft Lync, and how Microsoft partners can elevate the value they bring and the revenues they receive for unified communications projects through our eight-step journey towards unified communications.

I look forward to meeting with many of you at the show, and to bringing a little slice of this fantastic summer conference to those of you who didn’t make the trip to Los Angeles this week.
