As Web publishers doing a lot of blogging, we are interested in new developments in the area of blog communications (for example, see Rich Tehrani's entry today about "comment spam").

So I was interested to see this news item come across the feeds today:

CNET News.com Introduces TrackBack, Linking Blog Commentary to CNET News.com Stories

Now you can read a CNET story and find out which bloggers are linking to it. See the TrackBack button on CNET's story about the new JibJab movie:

If you click on the TrackBack button, you go to a page like this:

According to this page, nobody yet has linked to the JibJab article. Maybe I will be the first!
