Podcasting For Fun But Probably Not Profit

Just this morning, we completed our latest TMCnet podcast, so I had this compelling communications format on my mind when I was alerted to�an interesting article from the New York Times yesterday:

TMCnet recently started the first communications technology podcast. Today's entry featured Rich Tehrani, Michelle Pasquerello and myself. Topics included:
- VoIP regulation and E911
- The future of digital audio and the iPod (Bill Gates thinks the iPod will lose in the long run.)
- PDAs and cell phones as portable navigation devices
- Speech technology
- SeaCode, a company that plans to buy a cruise ship and set up a floating offshore outsourcing operation with 600 Indian software engineers on board (we call it 'The Love Boat')
