Voice Peering Conversation with Verizon

Verizon (and any incumbent really) has a lot of legacy network, process and revenue tied to it and for that reason it may be thought that they do not have the will, ability, or desire to be involved with the cutting edge, or facilitating change. That may be true in some situations, but apparently not for Verzion.
