Ooma Launches 4G Wireless Home Phone with VoIP Features [Infographic]

Ooma, – the communications solution for home and business has come up with an innovative new product. We most recently covered the company’s white-label announcement. The idea with that news was to allow MSPs to sell a suite of solutions or bundles – managed WiFi and phone for example.

Now they have a consumer innovation… The Telo 4G wireless home phone.

  • Ooma Telo 4G combines the Ooma Telo base station with the new Ooma Connect 4G adapter to deliver HD-quality digital phone service from Ooma.
  • Ooma Telo 4G can work in locations where wired internet service is unavailable, unreliable or too costly.
  • Ooma Telo 4G wireless home phone offers all the benefits of advanced Voice Over IP connectivity without requiring a separate internet connection.

According to a survey conducted by the company, almost three-quarters of Americans still have a home phone for safety reasons. The company’s new VoIP offering gives customers the security of a product that works even during an internet outage. The backup battery and 4G Adapter also offers customers peace of mind in knowing their home phone service will continue when their electricity or home internet goes down.
