BBT.live Launches Edge Connectivity Platform with Advantech and Rohde & Schwarz

Key Takeaways:

  • BBT.live, Advantech, and Rohde & Schwarz have launched a pre-integrated, plug-and-play secure edge platform aimed at MSPs, telcos, and distributed enterprises.
  • The solution combines SD-WAN, SSE, SASE, and ZTNA capabilities with advanced DPI and traffic analytics from ipoque, enabling zero-touch provisioning.
  • Debuting at VivaTech 2025, the platform reduces operational overhead for service providers and enables faster time-to-service across cloud-native environments.

BBT.live has teamed up with Advantech and Rohde & Schwarz to unveil a secure edge connectivity platform designed to help managed service providers and distributed enterprises deploy, manage, and scale modern networking services faster and more securely.

At the center of the collaboration is Advantech’s new FWA-T014 edge device. This fanless, compact appliance ships preloaded with BBT.live’s BeBroadband as a Service platform and integrates traffic intelligence from Rohde & Schwarz’s ipoque division. The system is designed for zero-touch deployment and supports a full range of services, including SD-WAN, SSE, SASE, and ZTNA.

Erez Zelikovitz, EVP and Chief Product & Revenue Officer at BBT.live, said the partnership is focused on operational efficiency.
“This collaboration offers true zero-touch deployment for service providers. By delivering a fully preloaded device with built-in security, routing, and analytics, we dramatically reduce time-to-service and operational overhead.”

Plug-and-Play Secure Connectivity

The FWA-T014 is built for high-availability edge environments and is managed via BBT.live’s multi-tenant orchestration platform. It supports remote lifecycle management and rapid provisioning for MSPs and OEMs serving global enterprise customers.

Bo Duim, Associate Vice President at Advantech, called the partnership an evolution of a long-standing collaboration.
“Together, we’ve built an agile, secure, and scalable SD-WAN as a Service solution that empowers businesses to modernize their network infrastructure.”

The system’s DPI functionality comes from the R&S PACE 2 engine, which provides real-time application detection and traffic classification. This layer allows the platform to adapt to varying traffic conditions and route intelligently across hybrid and multi-cloud networks.

“We provide service providers with unmatched visibility, control, and security across their networks,” said Dr. Martin Mieth, Vice President of Engineering at ipoque.

Positioned for Modern MSP Demands

Designed specifically for the needs of service providers, the system eliminates the need for on-site configuration. Instead, the pre-integrated platform arrives ready to go, with built-in monitoring and traffic insight capabilities. This shortens the deployment cycle, reduces operational costs, and improves network reliability across remote or distributed environments.

Zelikovitz said the new offering aligns with growing demand from MSPs that need to deploy services at scale while maintaining security and performance standards.
“It’s a game-changer for providers who need to scale quickly without adding complexity.”

The launch coincides with VivaTech 2025, where BBT.live is showcasing the platform in the “Israel 2025” Innovation Pavilion. Company CEO Moshe Levinson and the leadership team are meeting with investors and potential strategic partners throughout the event. The platform is now available to qualified partners and OEMs globally.

The announcement reflects a larger shift toward simplified edge deployments, where intelligence and orchestration are embedded directly into compact devices. With businesses moving toward hybrid cloud strategies, and MSPs under pressure to deliver more with less, this kind of integrated solution may find wide appeal—particularly in markets underserved by legacy networking approaches.
