It seems like just yesterday we were interviewing Derek Granath of Silver Peak at SD-WAN Expo about the company’s SD-WAN solutions improving application performance and availability. Turns out it was at SD-WAN Expo at the end of January 2019.
Then this past June we broke the news about the company’s partnership with NSC Global, expanding its global IT services portfolio with new managed SD-WAN services powered by the Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform.
The big news now is the company broke 1,500 customer deployments with some notable names. Production customer deployments span all market segments and geographies from distributed enterprises with tens to hundreds to thousands of sites served by an expanding number of enterprise channel partners including Insight, SHI, Teneo and World Wide Technology to customers deploying fully managed SD-WAN services offered by Silver Peak service provider partners. New EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform customers include: Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Citrin Cooperman, eSilicon, Farrer & Co, First Bank, HFF, a JLL Company, MidSouth Bank, MinterEllison, SAM, and The Vitec Group.

It’s an impressive milestone and as we wrote earlier today – a market scheduled to be $9B in size in a few years and growing at up to 65% per year is always exciting to watch.
