Why: IMS and Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) have taken front stage in the industry over the last 12 months as a means to tie higher layers to transport, allowing operators to deliver richer services while maintaining control of the network. This session will explore how FMC has become a lead driver for IMS deployments, and look at the latest technical and architectural developments to bring converged services to market using an IMS approach.

Before joining NewStep, Kevin led Nortel’s IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and location services product marketing team focused on GSM/UMTS service providers.
