Beyond the financial challenges inherent in going from a CAPEX to a monthly recurring (MRR)&nbsp;model are the inherent difficulties in learning how to configure complete solutions which include the network and voice communications.<\/p>\n<p>One company helping resellers and the channel making the switch is Jenne, Inc. They bill themselves as a truly value-added distributor according to&nbsp;<span class=\"TextRun SCXW17099906\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW17099906\">Susan Elder, Senior Director of Marketing as she told us in an exclusive in-person interview.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/uploads\/Susan%20Elder.jpg\" alt=\"Susan Elder.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW17099906\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">In January of this year, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\">TMCnet<\/a> reported Jenne becoming a distributor of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/channels\/business-voip\/articles\/436616-uc-market-target-voip-distribution-deal.htm\">Zenitel Group<\/a>. At the time,&nbsp;Patrick Howard, senior director of product management at Jenne said&nbsp;that&nbsp;Zenitel&rsquo;s intelligent communication solutions for operational risk and resilience, as well as essential operational needs are critical to bridging the last mile in this market.<\/p>\n<p>In February, we <a href=\"http:\/\/unified-communications.tmcnet.com\/topics\/unified-communications\/articles\/436919-jive-jenne-ucaas-partners.htm\">reported<\/a> on a&nbsp;Jenne deal with Jive&nbsp;<span>Communications. At the time, Patrick said, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jenne.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jenne<\/a><span>&rsquo;s high touch, fast response,&rsquo; model and UCaaS offerings will complement Jive&rsquo;s scalable, flexible, and reliable cloud-based phone systems and unified communications services, and their stellar customer service.&#8221;<\/span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>More recently, Jenne <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/usubmit\/2018\/03\/20\/8721007.htm\">announced<\/a> a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/usubmit\/2018\/04\/16\/8735812.htm\">Cloud Master Agent Program<\/a> for Avaya IP Office. They also announced&nbsp;<span>a new virtual instructor-led workshop through the company&#8217;s training program, Jenne University. It consists of a two-day, hands-on, interactive workshop, the course is designed for&nbsp;<\/span><span>Avaya&nbsp;(<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/tmcnet\/snapshots\/snapshots.aspx?Company=Avaya\">News<\/a><span>&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/enews\/subs.aspx?k1=%22Avaya%22\">Alert<\/a><span>)<\/span><span>&nbsp;end-users with IP Office administration responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/uploads\/Jenne-logo.png\" alt=\"Jenne-logo.png\" width=\"527\" height=\"155\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Susan explained to me that the company is growing, and has a wide range of partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/usubmit\/2018\/05\/08\/8750192.htm\">such as<\/a> 8&#215;8, Digium, Mitel, Nextiva&nbsp;and&nbsp;RingCentral. She said they have a dedicated Cloud Team to support Jenne partners and sell premise as well as cloud.<\/p>\n<p><\/span>She also explained they have web-based tools to help partners become more successful. Their Partner Solutions Designer allows partners to enter requirements to get suitable solutions such as the&nbsp;<span>best vendor, infrastructure and pricing information.<\/span> The company&#8217;s full line of solutions includes&nbsp;<span>backup and disaster recovery, effortless device and network management, SD-WAN solution support, security, SIP trunking and video conferencing.<\/p>\n<p>Other features for partners to take advantage of include access to demos, assistance with paperwork completion, assistance with spiff registrations and information about various promotions.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As resellers evolve from selling telecom hardware like PBXs to UCaaS, they often need help to figure out how to do it successfully.
