Windstream continues to come out swinging with new innovations and integrations – doing its best to leapfrog the field. The news that Windstream will integrate its UCaaS with Slack<\/a> is a big deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It allows Slack to leverage a relationship with a carrier with a huge footprint and customer base. Windstream is now on the cutting edge – integrating with one of the top collaboration players in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may recall last April we covered<\/a> Windstream’s positioning in the market between cablecos and large carriers. This past April we broke the news the company will focus on SD-WAN, UCaaS and the call center<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June we discussed the company working with Fortinet in the SD-WAN space<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By integrating OfficeSuite UC with Slack, Windstream Enterprise is enabling companies’ employees to connect seamlessly for easy, uninterrupted communication and collaboration. For example, customers can launch an OfficeSuite UC call or virtual meeting from within a Slack channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To emphasize the value of purchasing a cloud-based service, Windstream Enterprise is offering OfficeSuite UC and HD Meeting integrations for Slack at no extra cost to new and existing customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
