This past September we broke the news about Colt helping customers undergo digital transformation <\/a>and building out 5G. The Colt IQ Network connects 900+ data centers across Europe, Asia and North America\u2019s largest business hubs, with over 27,500 on-net buildings and growing.\u00a0The company spans over 213 cities in more than 30 countries. with leading-edge SDN and NFV solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has now announced its premium business Internet offering, IP Access, is now available via its SDN-enabled On Demand platform. The solution allows enterprises to benefit from high-bandwidth, agile, internet connectivity provisioned in near-real-time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colt <\/a>is operating its own global IP Backbone with presence at 25 Internet exchanges worldwide. Colt\u2019s IP Access On-Demand service combines the scale and performance of Colt\u2019s Internet offering with the flexibility of On Demand. Customers can now take full control over their Internet connections, flexing bandwidth up and down in near-real-time, bypassing legacy service delivery processes and lead times \u2013 all through the use of a feature-rich self-service portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers are able to combine IP Access On-Demand connections on the same physical port as On-Demand Ethernet and cloud connections \u2013 enabling seamless and efficient connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colt\u2019s IP Access product is supported by the wholly-owned and managed Colt IQ Network, which is comprised of more than 900 data centers and 27,500 on-net buildings globally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colt\u2019s On\nDemand offering has gone from strength-to-strength, with the platform recently\nexpanding to encompass more regions including the US, Hong Kong<\/a> and more countries in Europe. Colt\u2019s customer\u2019s also have the\nability to connect in real-time to many of the key cloud environments, with\nmost recently Colt enabling direct, on-demand connectivity to the Google Cloud<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
