Vodafone also has fixed networks in 19 markets with 27 million fixed\nbroadband customers and 22 million TV customers, including all of the customers\nin Vodafone\u2019s joint ventures and associates. Vodafone is committed to being a\ndigital-first operator, transforming how it manages network data to enhance the\ncustomer experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vodafone\u2019s Neuron big-data\nanalytics platform allows the company to utilize real-time data analytics to\ngain unique insights into its business. Those insights will help the operator\nto further enhance its customer services, network planning and optimization,\nand to provide personalized offers to customers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neuron will leverage Google\nCloud to bring multiple data sources into a standardized format and to enhance\noperations by making Vodafone\u2019s existing software cloud-compatible, enabling\nlocal markets to utilize new platform capabilities without disrupting existing\ncampaigns.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform also utilizes\nother Google Cloud services, including <strong>Dataflow, Dataproc<\/strong>, <strong>Cloud\nComposer, Data Fusion,<\/strong> <strong>BigQuery,<\/strong> and <strong>Google Kubernetes Engine<\/strong>.These services will help simplify integration and Neuron uses managed\nservices to allow data scientists and analysts to be more productive rather\nthan managing and configuring infrastructure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vodafone is also using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for hybrid infrastructure and containerization and to develop its next-generation business intelligence platform.
