This follows news we broke about Orange <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/sd-wan\/orange-business-services-expands-sd-wan-portfolio-with-fortinet.html\">expanding <\/a>its SD-WAN portfolio with Fortinet and how they want to lead the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/unified-communications\/orange-business-services-wants-to-lead-the-internet-of-enterprises.html\">internet of enterprises<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IAN will connect more than 125,000 Mars Associates across more than 80 countries. The network will provide a secure, scalable and swift platform to host business applications, while supporting manufacturing operations, office locations and supplier interactions for the private, family-owned business. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of Mar&#8217;s current initiatives are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Investing $1 billion over the next several years to become&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mars.com\/sustainability-plan\">sustainable in a generation<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li>Working to improve the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mars.com\/sustainability-plan\/nourishing-wellbeing\">wellbeing for families<\/a>&nbsp;around the world&nbsp;<\/li><li>Leveraging and sharing our research to create a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mars.com\/made-by-mars\/petcare\">better world for pets<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mars chose an IAN that pulls from a range of services managed by Orange Business Services. These include Flexible SD-WAN for quick and easy expansion, strong security solutions and multi-sourcing services integration (MSI). Orange MSI streamlines global infrastructure management and delivers a single, holistic point of easily coordinated control for all other service providers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis\npartnership will provide Mars Associates with an Intelligent Automated Network\nthat supports our digital transformation,\u201d says Paul L\u2019Estrange, Chief\nTechnology Officer at Mars, Incorporated. \u201cThe Orange network will provide four\ntimes our current network capacity at a lower cost, supporting new digital\ncapabilities we\u2019re using throughout our business.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement\ncreates opportunities for Mars to explore new ways to elevate and improve\nglobal digital infrastructure.
