The company was divided into a few different units and is now a single operating unit which means the ESG &#8211; Enterprise Solutions Group and the carrier focused Communications Infrastructure Group will merge.<\/p>\n<p>Now there is a single culture and strategy for expansion. They think this will take shareholders to a higher level.<\/p>\n<p>Duane Sword now becomes VP of Product Management for the entire company.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Potter is now in charge of outbound marketing and becomes the face to the industry from web to PR, etc.<\/p>\n<p>There is a great deal of hiring happening as well. You may want to send a resume.<\/p>\n<p>The only downside is that Steve Gladstone will be stepping down. Steve is one of the pioneers in the CTI\/VoIP space and his presence will be missed.<\/p>\n<p>I have confidence that Duane will fill his shoes well and will help the company grow. I think the reorg was a smart idea as I noticed a few disconnects between the groups in the past. Nothing terrible just what you expect when you have two different groups doing similar things. This change should be good for Empirix customers and potential customers. I predict it will be especially good for the media\/analyst community.<\/p>\n<p>Steve, make sure to keep in touch and tell us what you\u2019re up to.
