Is it the complexity of today\u2019s devices that make it necessary for cell phones and cable set-top boxes to need restarting? Or is it the designer that needs to meet impossible deadlines and cuts corners to get the product onto the market quickly?<\/p>\n<p>The good news about Microsoft getting into more areas of the consumer electronics market is they can be a standardizing force and cause prices to drop. The bad news ? You guessed it.
