Generally it has just been an awful press day for Google considering the <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/news.tmcnet.com\/news\/-publishers-sue-google-over-scanning-plans-\/2005\/oct\/1195209.htm\"><font size=\"2\">book scanning lawsuit<\/font><\/a><font size=\"2\"> and the <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/voip\/gmail-dies.html\"><font size=\"2\">Gmail lawsuit<\/font><\/a><font size=\"2\">. Three stories in a row that aren\u2019t positive. I am not sure I have ever seen this much negative press on any company in a single day. Take a look at how Google maps has to deal with whether <\/font><a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/20051020\/ap_on_hi_te\/google_maps\"><font size=\"2\">Taiwan is a province of China or not<\/font><\/a><font size=\"2\">. In fairness this isn\u2019t a negative story per se but having been used to seeing story after story about Google doing no wrong it must be tough for the company to deal with all these stores that are frankly less than positive.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Google is now the arbiter of national borders.
