The Security people were also joking about some news reports that said that liquids should be in a one gallon plastic bag. The correct bag type is one quart (are these guys serious?). Also many passengers were commenting about the 3 ounce rule for liquids. Will security force you to pour out excess liquid? This is one of those regulations that is virtually impossible to monitor.
