The timing was perfect as a well-respected PR director made a comment yesterday about an <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/greg-galitzine\/voip\/avaya-up-for-sale.html\">acquirer<\/a> for Avaya. They said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/snapshots\/snapshots.aspx?Company=Huawei\">Huawei<\/a> might be the best company to pick them up.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">I wasn&rsquo;t so sure when he mentioned this idea but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">I skimmed the book for a few minutes and it is rife with a examples of our dealings with China and other countries and it discusses the similarities between competition from China and Japan.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">I haven&rsquo;t spent enough time on it to say it is good or bad but the book has whetted my appetite to a point where I will put it on my list of books to read.
