I am talking about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmcnet.com\/snapshots\/snapshots.aspx?Company=VocalTec+Communications+Ltd.\">VocalTec<\/a> of course.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">1999 was the second year of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itmag.com\/\">Internet Telephony Magazine&rsquo;s<\/a> life and this investment brought a tremendous amount of confidence into the world of IP communications at the time.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">Most if not all other service providers at the time were saying publicly that VoIP had no place in business or carrier networks. This investment was very refreshing.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">In case you aren&rsquo;t aware, VocalTec stumbled when the bubble burst and was eventually <a href=\"http:\/\/news.tmcnet.com\/news\/-tdsoft-vocaltec-acquisition-voip-gateway-shareholders-cisco-\/2005\/oct\/1198631.htm\">acquired<\/a> by Tdsoft who kept the VocalTec name.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">Now Deutsche Telekom is at it again and they have joined <a href=\"http:\/\/news.tmcnet.com\/news\/2007\/05\/10\/2600969.htm\">Intel<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/news.tmcnet.com\/news\/2007\/05\/29\/2669794.htm\">investing<\/a> in JaJah a company providing a VoIP to PSTN solution.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">The importance of this news is the first service provider responsible for accelerating the VoIP market is now reinvesting in the space.
