That is, everyone except the largest carriers.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">For example, <a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcepbx.tmcnet.com\/topics\/open-source\/articles\/14113-wind-river-systems-joins-open-handset-alliance.htm\">Wind River<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/callcenterinfo.tmcnet.com\/analysis\/articles\/14111-nuance-add-its-expertise-speech-recognition-open-handset.htm\">Nuance<\/a> have joined the alliance while HTC is <a href=\"http:\/\/internetcommunications.tmcnet.com\/topics\/broadband-mobile\/articles\/14108-htc-working-google-phone.htm\">working on<\/a> a Google Phone prototype if not a production version.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">It seems mobile phone makers are never happy with mobile carriers as the latter exerts too much influence on the former. This is what I hear over and over again when speaking with the device makers.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">Certainly this infighting between suppliers and service providers is likely to intensify as a result of Google entering the space. But then again, AT&amp;T really gave an unprecedented amount of latitude to Apple when launching the iPhone and even Nokia and Vodafone are <a href=\"http:\/\/internetcommunications.tmcnet.com\/topics\/broadband-mobile\/articles\/14096-vodafone-nokia-agree-launch-integrated-vodafone-services-nokia.htm\">working more closely<\/a> than ever.<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><img decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"3\" align=\"left\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.tmcnet.com\/blog\/rich-tehrani\/uploads\/falling-cow.jpg\" \/>In unrelated news you may want to see this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/video\/#\/video\/offbeat\/2007\/11\/07\/cow.drops.onto.minivan.king\">video<\/a> of people discussing a cow falling from the sky and hitting a car.
