In this case, Yahoo! has unveiled SearchMonkey, a technology which allows websites to modify how their search results appear on Yahoo! search.<\/p>\n<p>What can you do with this API? You could add a photo of your company next to its listing and more.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately the API does not let you raise your search rank but perhaps if you make your listing look more enticing it will possibly generate more clicks than other sites.<\/p>\n<p>So what has Yahoo! done here? They have combined user generated content as part of their search algorithms.<\/p>\n<p>Will this help them?
