<p><font size="2">(How about a bit of good news, eh?)</font></p>
<p><font size="2">Sony fell&nbsp;behind in the late 1990s because of its&nbsp;slow recognition of <strong>flat-panel TVs</strong>. Sony's <strong>entrance into the LCD market</strong> has helped the company increase its share of the total market to 28%.</font></p>
<p><font size="2">Underscoring its continuing commitment to spend behind the Sony brand, the company&nbsp;<strong>hopes to gain even more ground</strong> with a new marketing campaign, consumer education and brand recognition.</font></p>
