      <![CDATA[<p>With <a href="http://www.tmcnet.com/voip/conference/">Internet Telephony Conference &amp; Expo</a> in Los Angeles next week, I've been hearing some <em>buzz</em> about some major news to coincide with the show, including at least one possible merger of a well-known VoIP player. We recently had mega-VoIP deal <a href="http://blog.tmcnet.com/blog/tom-keating/voip/ebay-buys-skype.asp">eBay buying Skype</a>, so who's next? I can't say who the rumored acquisition target is right now, but it will be an interesting merger if it is true.</p>]]>
