Low Price Alone is Not Disruptive

There was a booth advertising $199 TDM PRIs, but it had little traffic.

There is a vendor with a nice video conferencing system for $1000, but no line to see it or buy it.

StartMeeting was $20 flat rate conferencing. It didn't light the world on fire. (There are numerous free services too.)

Vidtel has $199 flat rate virtual meeting rooms for video conferencing.

Low price by itself does not disrupt IF no one notices!

Marketing is still required. Sales too.

Only stories spread.

One problem with low price: it means low compensation for the salesperson, so what is the motivation to sell it?
