The Attitude of Gratitude

What goes on in my personal and business life usually shows up in my writing. These past couple of weeks have been stressful. Last night and this morning, Zig Ziglar has been stuck in my head. His Attitude of Gratitude. Last night I was grateful. For my family, my friends and for my customers who have really helped me get through the last couple of weeks.

Zig says, "Of all the "attitudes" we can acquire, surely the attitude of gratitude is the most important and by far the most life-changing."

If you are having a sales slump or a stressful period, take a moment to be grateful. It will change the way you think (at least for a short while).

One of my Facebook friends writes a Gratitude post every day on her wall. Quite a reflection on some of the simple things, like a rainy evening with a book, a bike ride, a good workout.

"Gratitude will not only make you healthy and happy, it will also change your perspective in life. Happy people basically focus on others; unhappy people focus on themselves." [Zig]

This is a little off topic, so consider it a sales tip.
