FCC Releases Full Text Of AT&T-BellSouth Merger Approval Order

March 27, 2007

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has just officially released its the full text of its December order approving the merger of Bell South & AT&T.

A quick read through the order notes that the FCC believes the upside to this merger includes increased broadband deployment, competition for video programming across more avenues and outlets, lower costs, and "efficiencies related to vertical integration."
