George Daddis of Allworx Talks VoIP

George Daddis, CEO and president of Allworx, was nice enough to sit down with me this afternoon at the ITEXPO and discuss what’s doing at the Rochester, NY-based VoIP solutions company.

After speaking to a packed session about “Making a Business Case for VoIP”, George today announced at the Internet Telephony Conference and Expo the new Allworx 9200 phone series, which consists of the top-of-the-line 9212, and the affordable 9202 IP-phones.

The new high-end phones from the New York-based outfit is expected to complement its popular 9112 and 9102 phones, and offer customers a broader set of features with a sleek and intuitive design and the highest fidelity audio available without requiring extended protocols. He also announced the latest system software (version 6.8). The software allows all Allworx IP phones work in a seamless fashion with the systems – 6x, 24x, and 10x. providing an unified communications capabilities, such as “follow-me-anywhere” features, which route incoming calls to multiple Allworx SIP phones, or externals numbers - including full system integration of mobile phones.
