iPodResQ LCD Replacement

iPodA bit pricey if you ask me to replace the iPod's LCD (starts at $114), but I suppose it's still cheaper than throwing away your broken iPod for a new one just because of a damaged LCD.

iPodResQ Announces Flat Rate iPod LCD Replacement Program

Olathe, KS (PRWEB) May 1, 2005 -- The price for the flat-rate LCD replacement starts at $114.00, and includes a custom iBox sent to the customer’s location in the continental U.S. via overnight courier to pickup the iPod for overnight delivery back to the iPodResQ service center. iPodResQ will receive the unit, install an LCD the same day, and return the iPod back to the customer overnight. Additionally, the LCD is installed by an Apple Certified Technician and there are no core charges or other charges even for broken or damaged LCD's. To get started, customers simply call 1-877-Pod-Repair or visit www.ipodresq.com. For customers in Alaska, Hawaii, or any other international location the service is provided at a nominal additional cost to cover additional shipping expenses.

"We have been able to negotiate excellent pricing on iPod screens and have developed a new LCD screen repair program that offers our customers complete assurance of the repair quote and turn-around time. For example, our most popular repair is for the 4th Generation iPod LCD and we have been able to reduce our price about $50. Our all-inclusive program includes a brand new screen (not a “pull” or refurbished unit), the 3-way overnight shipping, and the custom iBox. We carry the LCD’s in stock and we anticipate a huge response to our lower prices." said Ryan Arter, President of iPodResQ. "It’s unfortunate to see so many iPods that come in damaged, but we are here to offer a sensible solution when your iPod AppleCare warranty does not."

For computer resellers and repair centers, iPodResQ offers discounted rates on products and services. Dealer inquiries are welcome on bulk-rate LCD purchases. Additionally, computer dealers can send overflow service work or seamlessly outsource their entire iPod repair operation. Volume discounts are available for schools, corporations and government agencies.
