Rumor has it that Google Calendar will launch tomorrow. Kudos to Russell Shaw for noticing the Google domain simply by playing a word guessing game. Jeremy has some insightful thoughts and a feature "wish list" for Google Calendar. Personally, I'm not too crazy about online calendars. Unless it integrates with my Palm or PocketPC PDA or even my Outlook Calendar (or Thunderbird), having an online calendar is pointless. Also - just what we need, Google knowing exactly where and when your next meeting is. Like they don't know enough about our searching habits, email habits, whom we email, who we talk to via 'Google Talk', and what we sell on 'Google Base' already. Well, let's just hope Al Qaeda signs up for 'Google Calendar'. And then it's Predator Hellfire missiles away!

AirSet http://www.airset.com may be what you're looking for (full disclosure: I work with AirSet). It syncs to both Palm and Outlook. Has RSS feeds, email and SMS alerts and........ Skype integration.
The service lets you share calendars, contacts, lists, blogs and weblinks within and between your groups. Best of all, it's free.
We'll soon be rolling out a mobile client that will let you access and update your group calendar and contacts data from your mobile phone too. We will charge $4.99 a month for the mobile client, however.
Hope you'll give it a look.
