Banzai Falls Twin Blast Rapids Waterslide

Remember the original Slip 'n Slide, a yellow & blue piece of plastic, that when wet becomes very slippery, enabling you to dive head first onto the plastic so you can slide the length of the sheet until you reached the grass in less than 1.5 seconds? It was a very short-lived thrill ride. Funny how in the commercials they make it seem like the slide lasts like 10 seconds. Can't recall if they used slo-motion or if they took several clips and spliced them together to make it appear like a longer ride. Does this photo bring back the good ole days of being a kid and having not a care in the world?

Now you can buy themed Slip N Slides, including Spidernan, Superman, or even a double-slide - the Double Auto Racer. Well, kids today can have an even cooler water slide - one with actual elevation. No need to get a running start and belly-flopping onto the plastic like you had to with the original Slip N Slide! With the Banzai Falls Twin Blast Rapids you can race your friends down this twisting double slide.

This massive, twisting slide inflates in less than 3 minutes with the included continuous-airflow blower motor and easily attaches to any hose. It'll set you back $449.99 (if you buy via Amazon) , but your kids will love you since they'll be the most popular kids on the block.
Also check out these cool summer water slides, especially since the Banzai is often sold out or price goes up during the summer.

The best part about the Slip 'n Slide was all the broken bones it caused and would lead you to wearing a cast all summer. The Banzai Falls Twin Blast Rapids looks like a water park for the back yard. One perk is that it inflates in 3 minutes, so your entire backyard doesn't end up a huge brown spot looking like a UFO landed.

Will any more Banzai Falls Twins Blast Rapids water slides be sold at the Linens-n-Things store? If not where can I purhcase one. I did not see an on line purchase order form. It seem that all the Line -N- Things store in the Delaware and Penn.area are all sold out.

I think this looks like one of the greatest toys out there, although I had a slide that was like this only smaller And I didn't take care of it so now when I get on it it deflates even when the motor is on. For people who read this and are getting this just remember to put it away when not in use.

I actually saw the twin slide sold at my local Kroger store.

When we had the single slide version, we bought it at Toys R Us. However, I did see them sold at both Target and Wal-mart stores.

Our kids LOVED this slide. We had to throw it away after two summers as the seams split out. We had a few neighborhood kids that liked to climb up the outside of the slide - that's why the seams wore out so quick.

Otherwise, the Banzai slide was THE best investment I had made for summer fun! We plan to get a new one this year instead of getting a membership to a local swim club.

Does anyone have an idea of how big this slide is? Hopefully big enough for adults.

I own one of these--picked it up 2 weeks ago. The thing is AWESOME--two slides so when the kids have some friends over, everyone can enjoy themselves. Fairly tall--one climbing wall is around 11 feet to the top (not including the canopies), the other around 8 feet. The manufacturer claims it's rated for 400 pounds (200 pounds per slide). I did slide down myself (can you blame me? :-) and my wife said the slide didn't lose any of its air inflation, but I don't think it's designed for heavy adult use. Really more suited for kids and young teens.

The nicest part about it is the wading pool at the bottom. Because the splashdown part of the twisting slide splashes outward and not toward the wading pool part, you can still have toddlers playing in the wading pool part and not get splashed too much by the older kids. That was the main reason we didn't get the single slide with the pool at the bottom--much more flexibility with the two-slide design and different ages of kids. Of course, you still have to watch everyone to make sure they're safe, but you can watch both slides and the wading pool at the same time from one location.

The first-time set-up took awhile---around 30 minutes until we got everything out of the box and up and running (had to deflate it twice to get the sprayer hoses perfect, but inflates/deflates very quickly), but the second time and after was a piece of cake--10 minutes tops and the slides were usable.

This is my second waterslide the first one the seems came apart by me pulling on it trying to put it away by myself so I purchased a double drop waterslide alone with a dolly now I rolled it up and put it on the dolly to put it away unfortunaltly i threw the waterbags and hoses away by mistake, do anyone know where I can purchased these items. This is the third year that my daughter has had this slide and she loves it

The perfect present for kids this summer. Every year, I put out their water slides and they never get tired of it.
