Nicole and I had our baby on Friday evening at 8:48pm. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz, and was 19 inches long. She has lots of hair, just like Dad (well like Dad used to any way) Megan is doing fine, mommy is doing fine, and daddy is doing great. I couldn't be a more proud of Daddy's little girl. Updated - Monday - 3pm - Added 4th photo (bottom right). Doesn't she look like she's posing for the camera with the right hand under the chin?

Congratulations! My wife and I had our little girl 9 months ago today. Your life will never be the same again. I read an article about dads having little girls with everyone telling them maybe next time they will have the little boy that they want. The article said having little girls is better. When you are older and in need of a special care facility, girls will be more interested in what amenities are available at the facility, while boys will be more interested in how much it will cost.
I wish you and your family the best with your new little miracle.

Thanks so much to all the folks who wished us congrats! Megan's doing great and we do actually sleep most of the night- amazing I know. She wakes up once about half way thru. No divas allowed in my house though- this is a down to earth girl here, if she's anything like Mom she'll be the pretty girl riding a bike instead of playing with dolls (I plan to have her on skis by age 2 or 3).
College fund- You betcha! Tom- get on that will ya?
And no blogs focused on her- Tom lives on the computer enough as it is, it's an IT world in the Keating household...don't give him any ideas- I need all the help I can get from him.:)
