A Chicago man who works for a security company was none to pleased to discover his snow shovel was stolen. But as Warner Wolf would say "Let's go to the videotape!". David Welles checked out his security footage from the many surveillance cameras around his house, according to the Chicago Tribune and discovered a woman swiping his shovel from his front steps.
A 2nd camera saw the woman go around the corner and then use his snow shovel to dig out her car. His 2 year old daughter cried and was upset that her dad couldn't finish making a snow igloo. Word to the wise, never upset a dad's daughter. Not when she's 2 years old, not when she's 15 years old, not when she's 30 - never!

Well, David grabbed his new snow blower and went out to serve some revenge. We all know revenge is a dish best served cold, like say tons of snow dumped onto the thief's car. Well played David, well played.

Technology and video surveillance is a wonderful thing when it catches people doing stupid things, like stealing a man's shovel. Watch the WGN News video of Welles's getting his revenge below. Think he felt bad it took the thief 4 hours to dig out her car? "It felt really good. I'm not gonna lie, it felt really good," Welles says.
