Sat3Play Satellite Triple Play - cool stuff!
November 9, 2007
Apparently, I don't know everything in VoIP They announced today that they has won the prestigious Frost and Sullivan European Product Innovation Award, for the company's Satellite Triple Play System (Sat3Play). Hmm, I may have to consider Sat3Play for the TMC Labs Innovation Awards. As long as I get to review it with free TV channels and free VoIP.
Essentially, Sat3Play is two-way satellite multimedia broadband system, made up of an intelligent combination of various standards including DVB-S2, DVB-RCS, SATMODE and TCP/IP. It allows optimized delivery of video and audio services, fast internet access and VoIP telephony, to both businesses and consumers in areas where broadband is not generally available.
