Ingate kicked off its SIP Trunk-Unified Communications Summit, again collocated with ITEXPO, with a new feature – a service provider focused day. The motivation comes from a real need to educate the service provider community on how to effectively deploy SIP trunks, in order to maximize on interest.
Steve Johnson tells me there is a real “swell of interest” from international markets (@Hillary there’s another instance of the phrase). In fact, he just recently fielded a request from New Zealand, where a provider is interested in doing at least a turnup a day. If this is any indication, SIP adoption and SIP Trunking is only getting started.
Here’s what Steve had to say about the service provider event. If you didn’t make it, Steve and Hillary are around the rest of the week – don’t forget ITEXPO and the Ingate Summit go on through the remainder of the week – and will be happy to answer any questions you have.
