According to MarketWatch, Research In Motion Ltd.'s (RIMM) request to suspend proceedings of its ongoing patent dispute with NTP Inc., pending the BlackBerry maker's request for a U.S. Supreme Court review, was denied, according to an NTP press release, the Wall Street Journal reported in its online edition on Friday. RIM shares fell 5% before being halted. The company may be forced to suspend sales of its market-leading device unless it can settle with NTP before an expected injunction is enforced.
Wow, no more Blackberry? Say it ain't so, Joe!
