Sounding off on VoIP wiretaps
August 9, 2005
Peter Swenson, president of Internet Colorado and member of the United States Internet Industry Association, gave his two cents today regarding VoIP wiretapping. Swenson told TMCnet.com in an interview that the FCC's order was something that Congress, not the agency, should handle.
"But I understand where they're coming from," Swenson said.
Personally, while I agree in theory with what the FCC is trying to accomplish, Mr. Swenson's opinion is intriguing.Additionally, most of the complaints that I have heard are of the "lack of guidance" variety.
