When is Wi-Fi not Wi-Fi - When it's Super

December 26, 2012

At IT Expo a few months ago (I know, I know, I’m just getting around to writing about it!), I wandered into the Super Wi-Fi area.  After all, Wi-Fi has had a profound impact on a lot of our lives.  And Super always sounds better.  So I wanted to find out about this.

5 Things Mobile Carriers Should Want to Find in their Stockings

December 18, 2012

IPX to Stop the Many, Many, Many, Many Network Interconnect Chaos

December 11, 2012

A few weeks ago, I spoke at the US Telecom “Voice Innovation Summit”.  I was placed in the part of the conference titled “From POTS to Communication Free-For-all”.  My point of view is that even though yes, there are many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many different types of IP Networks, it really doesn’t have to be a free-for-all.  First of all, connectivity is happening today, so it’s fine in a certain respect.

My 2103 Predictions

December 4, 2012

This is the time of year that I’ll make my industry predictions for the next calendar year.  First of all, I would like to say that there will be a 2013.  I know the Mayan calendar ends on December 21st, but if I really believed that, then I wouldn’t really be making any 2013 predictions, would I?  Plus, even if the Mayans are right, then no one will be around to know I predicted a 2013.
