DC local government seeking USF administrator

TelecomWeb is reporting that Washington, D.C.'s local telecom regulator has solicited applications for a Universal Service Fund (USF) administrator ito handle at least a one-year base contract for USF issues.

The contract, which also offers the possibility (but not the commitment of as many as two one-year extensions, carries an estimated worth of $1.5 to $2 million.
